Just like everything else you pick out at the builder design studio, imagine choosing your lighting and electrical from a menu of options from your builder. That awesome artwork you’ve always wanted a spotlight on? Under-cabinet lighting in the kitchen to help assist the chef of the house? You could pick out all of it. And you can even do it online!
Sounds amazing right?
And homebuilders: don’t you wish you could have an easy solution that would allow you to provide these options to your customers?
This is precisely why we started developing the Digital Design Studio in 2013.
And not only are we very pleased to announce its installation at the design center of Toll Bros in Tucson, we wanted to show you what it looks like!
The Digital Design Studio consists of a seating area for the designer and the homeowner, where they discuss and view options on a TV monitor. The monitor is programmed to display the interactive floor plan of their model, and uses a virtual design tool that allows the homeowners to view their different lighting and electrical options in high quality renderings of th
eir home. After the homeowner makes a selection, it is saved to their floor plan and applied to their actual home!
The homeowner gets the options they want, and the homebuilder sells more options and makes their customers happy. Voila!
