Job Brief
Aterra Designs is seeking a Software Engineering Intern (paid) to join us in our Scottsdale, AZ location. This is a great opportunity to utilize and grow the software engineering concepts you are developing while pursuing your bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Systems Engineering. You’ll get to work side by side with new and experienced teammates who are currently developing our proprietary Luminosity design software. With the goal of thinking outside the box to assist us in finding ways to reduce steps in the digital design process, streamline the workflow, and reduce software errors.
About Luminosity
Luminosity takes an electrical design and digitally transforms it into digital construction documents, providing clients who are building their new home a design experience unlike any other in the industry. Prior to Luminosity, the homebuyer sat with the builder’s salesperson or the electrical contractor to throw some lights into the kitchen or bedroom. Luminosity is designed to do a ‘redline’, placing electrical options into rooms while simultaneously displaying the total cost of the options. Once the client finalizes their order, the software creates an itemized list of options and a Bill of Materials for the builder, contractor, and client.
